i love my husband dearly and luckily for him i don't take the things he sometimes says to heart. that being said, i wanted to share a few of my favorite "did he really just say that?" moments he's had.
- he once asked me "did you mean to wear those shoes out?"... yes, i did.
- i recently asked him how he liked my new shirt. he replied, "it looks comfortable."
- this is the best...just yesterday he told me that i have "the potential to be pretty". what?! he said he thinks he left out a word. i think he left out lots of words.

Interesting the things we can say while attempting to achieve fluency...even when we think we're fluent. Did you hear about Hilary and the "reset" button?
